Reverse osmosis

Reverse osmosis is a technology for filtering water through a membrane which has the feature of having very small filter holes, so that it can filter out hazardous contaminants.

Reverse osmosis purifies water using a membrane with pores of 0.0001 microns. With such a small density, the reverse osmosis membrane is able to filter out protozoa, bacteria, viruses, chemical contaminants and various heavy metals that are generally present in water.
