DUST COLLECTOR
Dust collector is a system used to improve the quality of air released from industrial and commercial processes by collecting dust and other impurities from the air or gases. Designed to handle high volume dust loads, the dust collection system consists of a blower, a dust filter, a filter cleaning system, and a dust catch or dust removal system. This differs from air purifiers, which use disposable filters to remove dust.
Dust collectors are used in many processes to recover valuable granular solids or powders from the process stream, or to remove granular solid pollutants from flue gases prior to discharge to the atmosphere. Dust collection is an online process for collecting dust that the process generates from point sources on a continuous basis. Mist collectors remove particles in the form of fine liquid droplets from the air. They are often used to collect metalworking fluids, and coolant or oil mists. Mist collectors are often used to improve or maintain air quality in workplace environments.
Fume and smoke collectors are used to remove sub-micrometer sized particulates from the air. They effectively reduce or remove particulate and gas streams from many industrial processes
